Hi Im Luna! As a Minnesota Native, i have always had an interest in serving my community and providing honest and transparent services. In 2012 I graduated from Washburn High School with honors and joined the community working for government agencies and doing nonprofit work. I received my BA in English literature with a minor in communications from Metropolitan State University. I am now completing my Masters in Integrated Behavioral Heath at the University of Minnesota.

I developed a passion for advocacy of BIPOC families early on, seeing the need for representation and hearing the stories of my friends and families’ birth. I knew then that I wanted to make a difference in the lives of my community and put forth the effort of educating myself and teaching others about advocacy, birth, self-care, and postpartum support.

I have 3 beautiful godchildren and supporting their mother through her pregnancies and parenting journey is one of the great privileges in my life. This has emboldened me to want to look at all aspects of birth, postpartum support, and parenting. I wanted to be able to provide evidence-based and holistic support to those who may never even thought about who they lean on during times of transition.

As a birth and postpartum doula, my role is to help empower and hold space for you and your family through the entire journey. If done with compassion and understanding I believe that each birthing person can have a birth experience that leaves them feeling supported and understood.

I became a Doula in 2021, with the goal of providing comprehensive support to birthing persons and their families. I think that each birth is unique and beautiful and being a part of that journey is one of the greatest joys of my life.
